How much does it cost to participate?
Turkey Trot registration is $50, whether you run or walk.
Price will increase on November 1 to $55.
Onsite registration is $65.
What time is the race?
Registration will open at 7am on race day.
The 5K run will begin promptly at 8am and the 1M walk begins at 8:05am.
Can children run?
Yes, we encourage people of all ages to participate. The registration is the same price regardless of age.
Can runners and walkers participate with dogs and strollers?
Yes, dogs and strollers are welcome at Turkey Trot.
Can athletes requiring assistance participate in the event?
Yes, we welcome athletes and their assistants to either run or walk that morning.
Can I wear a costume?
Yes, by all means, wear something fun, bright and colorful.
Can I purchase race merch?
Yes, Turkey Trot gear is available here.
Are there prizes?
Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a 20th Annual LARS Race Against Hunger commemorative medal. The top three finishers in their age category will receive prizes, and the overall first-place male and female finishers will each receive a special prize.
Prizes will also be awarded for the best costume, a participant from farthest away, oldest and youngest participants and many, many more.
Will the race go on in the rain?
Yes, this is a rain, shine or snow event.
