Financial Assistance
LARS has limited funds to assist homeless clients with the following:
Laurel Winter Shelter
From November-March, homeless adults (men and women age 18+) can visit LARS during operating hours to complete an intake for the Laurel Winter Shelter, which rotates among local congregations throughout the winter season. LARS provides weekly outreach to congregation host sites to ensure that guests are connected with the resources they need to regain stability.

Financial Assistance
LARS has limited funds to assist homeless clients with the following:
- Obtaining identification cards
- Obtaining birth certificates
- Obtaining prescriptions and other minor health expenses
- First month's rent or security deposit
- Obtaining drug treatment and certain mental health needs
- Financial support for clients to get the needed materials to start work
