Get Help With Food
​

Central Maryland residents can receive food and other items such as diapers and toiletries from LARS' food pantry once every 30 days. Based on availability.

​​If you are a new client, please come prepared to your first visit with the following documents:
  • Valid picture ID (adults 18 and older)
  • Birth certificates (children 17 and younger)
  • Social security cards for all household members
  • Proof of residence to verify Central Maryland address

Homeless Hotline

​
​If you are in need of immediate shelter, please dial 2-1-1 or visit 2-1-1.org to find the direct number for your county. 2-1-1 provides free and confidential information and referral, including help with food, housing, employment, health care, counseling and more.

Financial Assistance

​LARS has limited funds to assist homeless clients with the following:
  • Obtaining identification cards
  • Obtaining birth certificates
  • Obtaining prescriptions and other minor health expenses
  • First month's rent or security deposit
  • Obtaining drug treatment and certain mental health needs
  • Financial support for clients to get the needed materials to start work

CLIENT SERVICE HOURS:
​Monday and Friday: By Appointment Only
Monday, 9:00am to 2:00pm, 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Tuesday - Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm

DONATION DROP OFF HOURS:
Donations are accepted at the back of the building during open hours. Please drive around to the back parking lot and ring the back doorbell and someone will assist you. Please do not leave donations outside or on the front porch. If you have any questions, send an email. ​
