Pantry Assistant

Purpose: To help maintain LARS’ food pantry.
 

Span of Influence: This person will work directly with Office Manager and Case Workers to organize pantry items  and monitor the freezer and refrigerator as well as assist with bagging and distributing groceries. There are also opportunities for picking up food donations and bread from local grocery stores.
 

Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week is ideal but this position is flexible. Volunteers interested in food pickup are needed many weekday mornings.  The average distance from LARS for food pickup is 5-8 miles round trip.
